Just love the cherry backing paper on this card. Used paper doilies on top left and right hand corners. Cherries and jam enchanced with glossy accents to look extra sticky.
Lovely shaped card made with new CD. Just cut out the double sided card, shaded round white area with blue pan pastel, added flowers and leaves and bakers twine at top. Eazy peazy card, for when you are in a hurry.
This is my Kraftyhands Challenge card for New Beginnings.
This card is very blue. I used Crafters Companion. Printed out 'Baby Boy' in suitable font with Word. I use Word a lot for sentments if I cannot find anything suitable. The edges are softened with pan pastles.
This was such an easy card to make. The colours are blue and pale yellow. The lily is traditional for sympathy cards but the borders and stripped paper make it very elegant.
This is one of three cards I am going to show. It is such a difficult subject and when I have to make a card for my own use or I am commisioned to make one they are always a worry that you get the right sentiment and tone. This CD certainly fits the bill. The colours are beautful, not morbid or drab and the verses fit what you want to say.
Just had to show everyone this photoframe made with Kraftyhands new CD Steampunk I needed images to put inside so I chose some very old photos of my Grandma and Grandad. They met on a Sunday school picnic and that was it. My Grandma's favourite flowers were violets so I added some to the card. My Grandma started my love of craft, teaching me to sew, embroider and bake.
The CD is fab. I was not really into making Steam Punk cards but the images are so easy to use and everything co-ordinates beautifully.
